In this real-like designed center, many patient profiles, that might be seen in emergency rooms,
can be simulated. Simulators, that are engineered to talk and generate pulse rhythms as well as pathological respiratory/cardiac sounds, are being used. In the center, simulations present cases of patients having heart attack, suffering respiratory failure or trauma and the education aims all emergency service personnel.
In this unit, where real surgical instruments are used, situations that might occur during preoperative preparations as well as during the operation itself, are simulated for training.
Moreover, simulations of surgery room crisis scenarios, which are not so common in routine practices, are put into action to increase the staff's experience.
In this unit, training aims to upskill and develop basic skillset about the topic before simulation education program starts. Here, the participants learn basic clinical skills, such as performing CPR, managing respiratory tract and inserting IV ports and catheters on the models called task trainers, then they move-on to hands-on training with simulators.
Delivery room training courses are comprised of normal and abnormal/difficult delivery (dystocia) scenarios, which are performed on delivery simulators, to enhance participants' skillset.
Delivery room courses include newborn resuscitation training which are performed on baby simulator. Also, reenactment of scenarios, in which the obstetricians, pediatricians and anesthesiologists intervene jointly as a team, are performed to develop participants' team work and communication skills.
This unit is used for paramedics training simulations which exemplify possible complications that might occur during the transport of the patient from the house to the ambulance and also for the simulations of homecare services.
In this unit, scenarios cover simulation of inpatients' follow-up and care. Experience-development oriented trainings include multidisciplinary approach, crisis resource management, effective communication and team work.
